Gunther de Graeve

Gunther De Graeve MAICD, AFCHSM is one of Australia’s leading Health Architects with 20 years experience gained in both the design and construction fields. He has planned, designed and delivered major hospital developments in Europe and Australia. He is recognised as a thought-leader within the health facility design sector for his innovation in operational models, for his sustainable approach to master planning and for his attention to detail allowing for future flexibility and future trends. He is Managing Director of Destravis, a specialist consulting firm he founded to deliver design strategies for health facilities based on cross fertilisation of design excellence, strategic planning and vision in governance and stakeholder outcomes. He delivers project advice to the industry including operators, designers, contractors, financiers and government. Gunther is a proactive member of the health facility community and participates in International design research and study tours. He actively promotes new achievements in the industry. Gunther is a regular speaker at International conferences; speaking at previous forums around Australia, South East Asia and the Middle East.
