Dr Jacques Mizan
 Dr Jacques Mizan is a Senior Associate with Health Launchpad and joined the Young Foundation in August 2008.
Jacques' role as a Senior Associate on the Health Launchpad team is to provide a real world clinical perspective on healthcare innovations. Prior to joining the Young Foundation Jacques worked as a General Practitioner in inner city London.
He continues to practice on a sessional basis and remains an active participant on numerous strategic NHS working groups, including Practice Based Commissioning task forces, PCT partnering boards and Clinical Advisory Groups in healthcare design.
Jacques completed his medical training in South Africa before coming to the UK to train in Primary Care. He has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings and developed a strong research portfolio through his research fellowship at Kings College London, where he completed his Masters in Primary Care.
His research interests focus on the patient experience specifically in terms of how the physical environment interacts and influences the activities within it and has been awarded numerous grants to pursue this work.
