WHR Architects is a full service architecture, planning and interior design firm focused on projects in healthcare, education, science and technology.
A recognized leader in the evolving field of evidence-based design, WHR works to implement purposeful design of the patient and staff experience to enhance efficient operational performance. Our staff of experienced professionals includes 17 board certified healthcare architects with the American Academy of Healthcare Architects (ACHA) and four board certified healthcare interior designers with the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers (AAHID).
WHR has an advisory group of clinicians which are a resource to our planning group. WHR is consistently ranked by Modern Healthcare magazine among the top healthcare design firms in the USA.
WHR is one of the 12 members of the Healthcare Industry Committee of The Advisory Board, a prestigious group with a membership of 2,500 of the USA’s largest and most progressive health systems and medical centers.
They provide best practices research and analysis to the healthcare industry, and publish to their membership daily and weekly news services, major studies and customized research briefs each year.
Our project experience includes a broad spectrum of large replacement hospitals, heart hospitals, children’s hospitals, patient towers, emergency centers, women’s centers, ambulatory care centers, surgical centers and rural clinics. Our work is exclusively with mission-driven organizations whose values closely match ours.
