The 8th Design & Health World Congress and Exhibition will held be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 27 June - 1 July, 2012.
The International Academy for Design & Health has been uniting the fields of architecture, design, the health sciences, economics and psychology for two decades, achieving its ambition to be one of the most significant health development organisations in the world.
Its global status is recognised in the organization of the 8th World Congress for Design & Health in the Kuala Lumpur, where delegates will learn and share knowledge in a scientific programme that will underpin future professional practice in health promotion by design.
Delivered in partnership with the Malaysia's Ministry of Health and Public Works Department, and with the support of the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM), the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia – College of Public Health Medicine and the International Islamic University Malaysia, as well as many industry sponsors.
The congress will connect researchers and practitioners from all over the world, providing a chance for delegates to engage with the world’s foremost interdisciplinary network of thought leaders, including architects, environmental designers, psychologists, physicians, nurses, health planners, health policy makers and other decision makers.
