Criteria An award for an outstanding acute or non-acute healthcare building where patient-centred considerations are as evident as clinical and managerial priorities. The project must demonstrate an understanding of the therapeutic effect of a ‘healing’ environment, and show how innovative design permits ongoing flexibility of use, addresses issues of sustainability and recognises the broader civic context.
